Trevor Bunch is one of the founding volunteers of Forgotten Voices, handling the logistics for the initial trip in 2004 and returning in 2005 to establish the first partnerships in Zimbabwe.  Trevor assisted in launching Zambia partnerships in 2007, and he has served on the Forgotten Voices Board of Directors since its formal 503(c)(3) incorporation in 2005.

Professionally, Trevor is a Certified Enterprise Architect with LMI, a not-for-profit strategic consultancy committed to improving public-sector management.  He specializes in Enterprise Architecture, a discipline that merges business and IT design. He is currently working with several Federal clients to improve their information management and IT investment strategies.  Trevor holds a bachelor's degree from Messiah College double majoring in Computer Science and Bible, and a master’s degree in Business Administration from Drexel University.

Q: Why do you volunteer your time for Forgotten Voices?

A: I strongly believe that as a faithful steward with what God has blessed me, it is my responsibility to multiply it for His kingdom’s sake (Mt 25:14-30).  Time is my most scarce and valuable resource: how I invest my time directly shapes how God speaks into my life and illustrates how I love and serve Him.  God used a little girl named Prudence to convince me that Forgotten Voices one of the best causes to work with.  In one afternoon, I witnessed the social isolation of an under-developed 4 year old, a mother on her death bed, grandparents wondering how to care for all of their grandchildren and a church trying to support them.  It was a complex ecosystem of issues where a committed partnership with local leaders could build hope and a future for these families.  Forgotten Voices builds the capacity of local churches to meet the needs of these families.  It’s a sustainable approach that yields dividends well beyond my time investment.
