Director of External Reporting, Presbyterian Senior Living, Dillsburg, PA

Dyan joined the Forgotten Voices team in January 2007 to handle the accounting functions.  Her current responsibilities include monthly reporting, payroll, and regulatory reporting.  She serves as a non-voting financial advisor to the board of directors.

Dyan is employed part-time by Presbyterian Senior Living, where she is responsible for compiling the audited financial statements, completing all IRS related documents and maintaining the financial section of the web page.

Dyan received her bachelor’s degree from Messiah College, where she majored in Accounting and minored in Mathematics.  She is a Certified Public Accountant in the state of PA.  She spends much of her time with her 3 young sons and husband of 10 years.

A: Why do you volunteer your time to Forgotten Voices?
Since college, I have been looking for ways to join in missions.  Not having a service related major it was much harder to find a mission field that really needed my talents.  After having three boys in 2 years, I thought my chances of helping others through missions would need to go on hold.  Then, Forgotten Voices approached me with their need for an accountant.  Loving my vocation, and my desire to help those in need, Forgotten Voices provided me with a great ministry to serve God.  After getting to know Ryan and the team, I was impressed by their commitment and desire to give as much to the kids as possible.  The selflessness of the Forgotten Voices team has shown me what it truly means to serve others for the Lord and I am proud to be a part of that team.
