Tonight in a small town of Guilderland, New York outside of Albany a wonderful event takes place. If you want to hear bands battle for a recording contract, this is the place to be. If you want to see people shaving legs and heads or dueling each other with fish, look know further.
All this craziness has an even more important purpose. The 750 teens that will be there come to help change their world. The event benefits churches and communities in Zimbabwe and Zambia. By coming to this Battle of the Bands and buying food and many other crazy things, they directly impact children orphaned by AIDS in southern Africa
So if you live in the Albany area, stop by Tawasentha Park. If you don’t, here are a couple of things that you can do. Come alongside these teens and
donate to Forgotten Voices. Also we will be live tweeting from the event. Click
here to follow the night. All tweets will be under #Nervosity so follow this amazing event to benefit churches in southern Africa.
