2nd Annual Forgotten 5K coming to Mechanicsburg, PA!
Forgotten Voices is blessed to announce that a 100% volunteer team is bringing the Forgotten 5K, 1 Mile Mosey, and Unforgettable Costume Contest back to Mechanicsburg, PA on September 8th, 2012!
The event is sure to be a blast, with a competitive 5K race along with a family friendly 1 mile fun walk. Hand carved pieces from Zimbabwe along with a host of other prizes will be handed out to race winners in individual categories, and an iPad will also be given away at random to someone who wears a costume to either event.
The 5K race and fun walk will take place at West Shore Evangelical Free Church in Mechanicsburg, PA starting at 7am. Information about prizes, the courses, sponsorship opportunities, and also online registration are all available on the event website. All proceeds from the event will go directly to Forgotten Voices, so please help us spread the word about this exciting event!
