Thank you and may God bless you!!
“Thank you and may God bless you!”, were the words that came from Mark as he handed his pastor the letter and results
of his grade 12 examinations. Life hasn’t always been easy for Mark since his father passed away. At one stage he had lost hope of ever going back to school and have hope for the future. His mother, a house wife, could not afford to pay the school fees and had no choice but to let the young boy stay home. The future was indeed grim for this promising young boy.
However, when Pastor Benjamin Mashonga and his elders got to know about his situation, they came to his aid. This, of course through the partnership with Forgotten Voices, they made an effort to get Mark back into school. Mark has since finished his O’ Levels and when the results were out early this year, he had 5 distinctions and 3 merits out of 8 subjects he wrote. Very good results indeed!! He is hoping to pursue further studies at the university. It is so gratifying to see that slowly but surely his dreams are coming to fruition. All because of the step you chose to take…donating to the local church’s initiative for orphans like Mark!
This is why we do not tire to labour so hard to see that the local church can groom and champion the dreams of orphans such as Marks’. Would you join the cause and donate TODAY to make an orphan’s dream come true…it only takes approximately $150 a year to fulfill this dream you know!!!
In Matthew 25: 40, Christ reminds us that whatever we do to “the least of my brethren”, we are doing it to Him. How wonderful it is to be part of His ministry of compassion. Let me echo Marks’ words again; “Thank you, and may God bless you!!!”

Remmy,
Thank you for sharing the concrete effects of the work taking place in the local churches of southern Africa. As much as I know and love Ryan as a brother in Christ and a friend, your credibility surpasses his in some ways. You are closer to where the ministry happens! Thanks so much for sharing this good news with us and please don’t hesitate to share again.
Remmy, thanks for sharing this! I love seeing these major milestones in the lives of children for whom we pray and advocate and serve. Congratulations, Mark!
