Abby’s Artwork for Africa
While other children have been busy playing with new toys they received for Christmas, a six year old girl named Abby has been busy drawing and coloring artwork to sell. Over Christmas break, Abby decided that she wanted to have a fundraiser to raise money for Forgotten Voices by selling her artwork. So between now and the end of January Abby’s art is available for a suggested donation of 25 cents per piece. She is generously donating all of the proceeds to Forgotten Voices. She and her family call it “Abby for Africa”.
Abby’s father Chris, said, “Abby came up with the idea to raise money for children in Africa on her own right, around Christmas. She is, by nature, a giver who does not really like things for herself near as much as she enjoys seeing others benefit from her benevolence.”
If you are on Facebook, you can view her artwork at http://www.facebook.com/groups/498201796869764. If you are not a Facebook user, contact me for more information on how you can purchase some of Abby’s art at kgoss@forgottenvoices.org.
Let’s rally behind Abby and all help to support children in Africa!
Blessings in the New Year,

I just had breakfast with 6 year old Abby this morning, along with her dad. What a joy it was to see the energy and love in her face. I asked her why she did this. She simply said, “because I wanted to.” Her favorite medium is paint, without question, though she said she likes them all.
Thankful for all the ways people use their gifts to advance our important mission.
