Often under trees in their home village, over 500 people die every day from AIDS related illnesses in Zimbabwe and Zambia, leaving a daily average of 1,000 children orphaned by AIDS. Every child has a name, a face and a voice. These children await a response – will we hear their stories? Hear their cries? Help answer their prayers? But how can you and I help? What would you do if you held the hand of a neighbor’s child, as they watched their mother or father die under a tree in the backyard?With ForgottenVoices.org, you and I have the pportunity to invest in the ongoing work of churches across Zimbabwe and Zambia and respond with open arms of love to the child. We have located and are partnering with these heroes who are responding in love and action to the AIDS victims. People boldly saying YES and responding to the needs.
