Introducing Neatness
Meet Neatness, age 14. Hear her story of courage, hope, and love. Neatness' last words to us before we left her were these: "I hope my story helps thousands of kids, just like me, all around me."

Follow the travels of Ryan and friends, as they work with Forgotten Voices around southern Africa and the USA. Read interesting stories from the ground and get the very latest from our partners in Zimbabwe, Zambia, and the USA.
Often under trees in their home village, over 500 people die every day from AIDS related illnesses in Zimbabwe and Zambia, leaving a daily average of 1,000 children orphaned by AIDS.
Impact: school fees, voluntary counseling and testing clients, support for schools in a Peer Education Programme, home based care workers training & home-based care kit distribution.
Impact: 48 primary and secondary kids, as well as 20 trained in homebased care, as well as funding to supply orphans and caretakers with health & food needs
Impact: Currently helping 21 children back to school (with a goal of 80) and sewing/empowerment projects for 32 widows; construction of a hammer mill that is used for grinding corn, providing sustainability.
Impact: 26 kids in primary school. The husband and wife that lead this ministry fled Rwanda in opposite directions during an attack on their village during the country’s vicious genocide.
We are demonstrating the love of Jesus Christ by equipping local churches in southern Africa to meet the physical & spiritual needs of children orphaned by AIDS in their communities.
We are focused on locally developed and run orphan care to protect the voices of pastors, community leaders, and the children they serve.

Often under trees in their home village, over 500 people die every day from AIDS related illnesses in Zimbabwe and Zambia, leaving a daily average of 1,000 children orphaned by AIDS. Every child has a name, a face and a voice. These children await a response – will we hear their stories? Hear their cries? Help answer their prayers? But how can you and I help? What would you do if you held the hand of a neighbor’s child, as they watched their mother or father die under a tree in the backyard? With ForgottenVoices.org, you and I have the pportunity to invest in the ongoing work of churches across Zimbabwe and Zambia and respond with open arms of love to the child. We have located and are partnering with these heroes who are responding in love and action to the AIDS victims. People boldly saying YES and responding to the needs. We have found trustworthy churches who are taking these children into their homes and loving them as their own. Click here to read More |
