Impact: 23 orphans back to school (with a goal of 50) and 77 widows trained by the end of 2011 in tailoring skills, as well as start-up fabric and machines of their own.

This is a church with a big vision that loves to rock out on a Sunday morning with loud music, filling the nearby streets with worship music.  Every time we have visited this church, we are greeted with a lively worship service inside and kids running with laughter outside. It is clear that this church knows its community.

Forgotten Voices is pleased to partner with this church, led by a pastor named Christian. It is a fitting name for a pastor, but he doesn’t rest on perceptions because of his name or his title.  Christian has mobilized a team of volunteers in his church to address different areas of the ministry, allowing him to provide spiritual support to the caregivers, kids, and community volunteers.
