TCCA, which stands for the Theological College of Central Africa, is one of the most respected seminaries in southern Africa.  Any school is best judged by its product: its students.  TCCA’s students serve all over the continent and around the world.  As we began Forgotten Voices, it was not uncommon for us to find passionate advocates of our desire to work through seminaries in Africa and people regularly cited TCCA as an example of a seminary that is working to meet the physical and spiritual needs of people.

Forgotten Voices is pleased to partner with TCCA to help connect the institution back with its graduates to see how they are doing and what they are doing in HIV/AIDS care.  Working across five regions, TCCA is assessing how it can better assist its graduates and connect them to one another to build the capacity of the local church, across denominations.  Forgotten Voices, in addition to helping fund the initiative, is also working to help develop an accompanying network to bring churches led by TCCA grads together around the issue of orphan care.  Through summits, surveys, and retreats, this initiative is truly equipping current and future generations of church leaders.
