Over the course of the 3 years that Forgotten Voices researched what should be done about HIV/AIDS in Africa, we learned a couple things about the USA along the way. There is a rising feeling in America that nothing can be done in Africa. We are bombarded by the challenges this continent is facing. At Forgotten Voices International, we recognize those challenges. But we also want everyone to read about the stories of hope and the good things that are happening.
As you learn about HIV/AIDS, Zimbabwe, and Africa, it’s easy to be overwhelmed. But look for the good things and tell your friends to check us out. We are working to post links that highlight the challenges AND successes…progress that is being made… and hope that is spreading.
If you hear of stories, definitely pass them along. Let’s live in reality, but also remember that reality includes the good with the bad. Hope is possible and you can help.
