Savannah Safari – A Free VBS Curriculum!

safari vbs Savannah Safari – A Free VBS Curriculum!The Kids Serving Kids ministry of Forgotten Voices International would like to introduce you to a free Vacation Bible School curriculum entitled Savannah Safari. Written by an experienced pastor and children’s ministry volunteers, this curriculum is themed around life in an African village.  It is designed to teach children how love H.E.L.P.S. others.

H=Heal Others’ Hurts
E=Encourage Others
L=Lend a Hand to Others
P=Pray for Others
S=Share with Others

Throughout the 5-day program, children will have the opportunity to:

  • Respond to the message of the Gospel by asking Jesus to forgive their sin and become their personal Savior.
  • Understand and apply Jesus’ parable of the Good Samaritan and his command to “love your neighbor”.
  • Comprehend that God desires for them to be a part of something much bigger than themselves – where they receive AND give help.
  • Discover how they can help others by learning from Bible stories and puppet shows while participating in African-themed crafts, snacks, projects and games.

The curriculum is easily adaptable to use as a 5-week Sunday School, Kid’s Club or any other program. We also offer a Missions Resource that you can use with any existing Vacation Bible School curriculum to enhance your material.

Please take a look and email us with any questions you have. We would love to help you teach kids about how love H.E.L.P.S. others!

  2. This curriculum will appeal to all of my church family members. We usually purchase our curriculum from another vendor. But I know this one will be a blessing to us all ! Thank You !

  6. I really want to also have 3-4 songs for the week. Do you have suggestions for ones to use with this that would be kid friendly and work well with this theme? LOVE the ideas here.

    Thinking of the song “I am Not Forgotten/God Knows My Name” from a VBS a few years ago… any other ideas?

    I have only skimmed the material so if something is listed in there, forgive my oversight.

  8. Only skimmed the material so far, but it looks wonderful! I really love that the craft/project is something useful and encourages kids to apply the biblical principles, not a ho-hum item likely to get thrown out, lost, or broken within a month. I’m looking for a 3-day program to do Fri-Sun (small church with many members working M-F.) But I love what you’ve done so much; I wonder if I could adapt it to 3 days?
