The little girl behind Maeve Gives
Maeve Alice Miller was born on July 6, 2009. She was early…34 weeks along in the pregnancy. She weighed 4 lbs. 10 oz. To most people, that age and weight wouldn’t seem “too bad” for a premature baby. But Maeve had a bigger problem to face… Click here to read her full story.

“Proceeds from Maeve Memorial Runs will be used to support organizations working to improve the lives of children and we are proud to support their efforts in Maeve’s memory.” – Maeve Gives

About Forgotten Voices

Forgotten Voices exists so that every child can experience the love of God and the security of a family, church and community.

Child-driven

Every child’s needs are different: some need education support, others need grief counseling or even skills training. Whatever the need, we work to co-create custom development plans with our church partners to ensure every child’s needs are taken care of.

Family-focused

Children thrive in nurturing families – so we equip families with safe parenting skills training, economic empowerment, emotional support and more. That way, families have skills and resources to meet their family’s needs while creating safe and supportive homes for children.

Church-based

Local churches know their community’s needs and are best-positioned to address them. Forgotten Voices partners with trusted and committed churches to serve orphaned and vulnerable children and their caregivers in their communities.

The proceeds from this year’s race registrations go towards the work of equipping churches, empowering caregivers, and caring for orphaned and vulnerable children!

What’s happening during the event?

TREATS: Free donuts & bagels after the race!

MUSIC: Listen to a mix of southern Africa gospel favorites plus Christian hits from the USA!

FUN: Fellowship with friends!
You can even dress up! The Maeve Gives Foundation is encouraging a “quinceanera” costume theme this year as this year marks what would be Maeve’s 15th birthday. Pink, tiaras, and tutus encouraged in her honor!
